Why waste our waste? When we can also generate energy! The life cycle of your plastic bottle does not end in the garbage bin. It is time that we become aware of the linear ways in which we think; and change them! Because many processes can be circular instead. Take our waste for example…

During our excursion to Omrin you will learn about the Waste to Energy processes and the way Omrin tries to give their waste a new identity. Curious? Sign up before the 15th of October and maybe you’ll be joining us for a lecture and guided tour at Omrin!

Omrin collects and processes waste; converting non-recyclable waste into usable forms of energy, including heat, fuels and electricity. Processes such as gasification, incineration and anaerobic digestion are being used to change waste in energy. However not only the techniques behind the recycling are important, also creating awareness among costumers about the value of waste is critical in creating a circular system.
