The future of the energy sector in Asia will likely be driven by clean energy and innovative energy technology. In Asia, fossil fuels (in particular, coal) account for dominant share in its primary energy consumption now. But the share of fossil fuels is expected to decline because of the increase of clean energy solutions. Ken Koyama will tell you about the energy reality and challenges in Asia from a broader context. This lecture will cover the three dimensions of the Energy trilemma in Asia: energy security, environmental protection and economic efficiency. It will also explain the ‘best energy mix’ concept for the region. Enough reasons to join us during this webinar.
